Betrüger immer noch bei der Arbeit!

Kaum zu glauben, aber wahr. Die Geschichte von Brigitte Wollmann in hafencitynews.de über den Betrug mit Vermietungen „Kaiserkai – Betrug mit Vermietung“ ist noch nicht zu Ende. Jetzt hat der Artikel verhindert, das die Betrüger weitere Opfer gefunden hätten. Eva V. aus Hamburg war schon fast auf den Weg zum nächsten Western-Union-Schalter, als Google und hafencitynews.de für Aufklärung sorgten.

Die Betrüger sind also immer noch aktiv und potentielle Opfer noch nicht ausreichend gewarnt. Kein seriöser Vermieter wird Kautionen über Western-Union entgegennehmen oder abwickeln. Mehrere Fälle von versuchtem und durchgeführtem Betrug sind inzwischen auch bei der HafenCity Hamburg GmbH aktenkundig. Für alle Geschädigten und auch für potentielle Opfer gilt: Polizei benachrichtigen oder Anzeige erstatten.

Zur Warnung und Illustration hier die komplette Mail eines dieser Betrugsversuche. Der Name des Opfers ist geändert, alle anderen Daten sind authentisch und, wie am Datum zu erkennen, hochaktuell.
